SOUTH BEND’S HISTORY IS IN AUTOMOBILES
South Bend’s history revolves around years of heavy reliance on industry, notably as the site of manufacturing facilities for Studebaker cars. However, the face of South Bend has since evolved, with South Bend’s city center has experienced growth in technology and tourism. Examples of this sort of entrepreneurship can be located at the University of Notre Dame‘s main campus, which is located in South Bend.

GOING THROUGH A RENAISSANCE
South Bend, Indiana, is undergoing a renaissance. Some of the most poignant symbols of this rebirth may mention the Renaissance District on South Bend’s south side, billed as the Midwest’s largest mixed-use technology campus. The campus is now home to technology companies, which had once occupied the iconic Studebaker buildings, which dominate the Renaissance District. The turnaround in the area is quite remarkable. It’s brought about by substantial investment in private projects, revitalizing large South Bend areas with hotels, restaurants, and luxury housing. South Bend is experiencing a dramatic transformation right now.
South Bend has long been a hub for art and entertainment. The Morris Performing Arts Center and Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center draw top talent throughout the year.
FOUR WINDS AND THE SOUTH BEND CUBS

Also nearby is Notre Dame’s campus, located nearby and known for its beaches in Lake Michigan, which offer shopping and opportunities to kick back.
